Brooke Elliott opened up about her love life in ‘Sweet Magnolias’
While Elliott tends to keep her relationships at a distance from the media’s attention, she has displayed a contrasting level of openness regarding the romantic journey of her Sweet Magnolias character, Dana Sue Sullivan.

As the series’ storyline progresses, Dana faces the intricacies of her past connection with Ronnie, the father of her child, while also dealing with her new romantic feelings for Jeremy.
In an interview with TV Fanatic, the actress expressed her perspective on her character’s decision, mentioning that even though she had a fondness for Jeremy, she believed that her character was more compatible with Ronnie.
She stated, “I think Jeremy is such a beautiful gift for Dana Sue but I will say that there is just something about the intensity and chemistry with Ronnie, and I think those two souls are aligned.”
Likewise, the actress went on to explain that she feels fortunate to have Quinn as her character’s husband. She described him as fantastic and just as committed to the characters and the series’ journey as she is.
